India A pacer Mukesh Kumar unleashed his fury on the Australia A batting order on Day 2 of the unofficial Test as he single handedly decimated the hosts. The bowler bagged six-wickets in the 1st innings to bundle out AUS A for 195 runs. Mukesh picked up from where India had left off at the end of play on Day 1 when AUS A were already four wickets down, thanks to twin strikes from Mukesh Kumar and Prasidh Krishna.

Mukesh Kumar was instrumental in dismantling Australia A’s middle order, finishing the innings with a spell of 6/46. The pacer got rid of the dangerous Beau Webster (33) and struck once again to remove a well-set Connolly (37). Mukesh Kumar added Phillippe and Brendan Doggett’s wickets to his tally before hammering the final nail in the coffin by sending Murphy packing. Prasidh Krishna finished with three wickets to his name while Nitish Kumar Reddy picked one wicket.
