Speaking to reporters after the loss in New Delhi, Taskin Ahmed stressed for the need to have better pitches at home in order to prepare for posting high totals. He admitted that while they players needed to improve their skills, it was imperative for the BCB to intervene in the matter of ‘good wickets’ back at home.

“We have to improve our skills, but we also need to play on better wickets back home. These are the main reasons [for the defeat].
